Final Fantasy 6 – Blitz Commands

In Final Fantasy 6, Blitz is Sabin’s ability which you need to execute certain commands for him to perform his techniques.

Raging Fist (Pummel)

Command: left, right, left

Available from level 1 onwards, it is Sabin’s basic Blitz technique in Final Fantasy 6. Execute the command and then see the monk unleashing a series of powerful punches at an opponent.

Aura Cannon (Aura Bolt)

Command: down, down, left

Meteor Strike (Suplex)

Command: 

• SNES – X, Y, down, up
• GBA: R, L, down, up
• PS1: triangle, square, down, up
• PC, iOS e Android: right’s diagonal para up, left’s diagonal, up, down, up

Available from level 10 onwards, Sabin grabs the enemy and pins him to the ground. Attack power is halved if there is more than one enemy, so it is more useful against bosses.

Rising Phoenix (Fire Dance)

Command: left, diagonal para down left, down, diagonal para down right, right

Available from level 15 onwards, this is a Sabin Blitz in Final Fantasy 6 that results in a fire attack and thus hits all opponents ignoring damage reduction, meaning it’s quite useful to hit enemies before you learn to use spells.

Chakra (Mantra)

Command:

• SNES: R, L, R, L, X, Y
• PS1: R1, L1, R1, L1, triangle, square
• GBA: R, L, R, L, down, up
• PC, iOS e Android: right’s diagonal para up, diagonal da left para up, right’s diagonal para down, diagonal da left para down, down, up

Available from level 23 onwards, this is an ability that heals all characters’ HP, in addition to healing Blind, Poison, Silence and Sap. That is, it’s quite useful until you can use spells.

Razor Gale (Air Blade)

Command: 

• SNES, PS1 e GBA: up, up, right, right, down, down, left
• PC, iOS e Android: up, diagonal right para up, right, diagonal right para down, down, diagonal left para down, left

Available from level 30 onwards, this Sabin’s Blitz in Final Fantasy 6 is an elemental wind attack that hits all opponents, meaning it’s great for flying enemies.

Soul Spiral (Spiraler)

Command:

• SNES: R, L, X, Y, right, left
• PS1: R1, L1, triangle, square, right, left
• GBA: R, L, up, down, right, left
• PC, iOS e Android: diagonal right para up, diagonal left para up, up, down, right, left

Available from level 30 onwards, this Sabin’s Blitz is an elemental wind attack that hits all opponents, meaning it’s great for flying enemies.

Phantom Rush (Bum Rush)

Command: 

• SNES, PS1 e GBA: left, left, up, up, right, right, down, down, left
• PC, iOS e Android: left, diagonal left para up, up, diagonal right para up, right, diagonal left para down, down, diagonal left para down, left

Available from level 70 or by visiting Duncan’s cabin in World of Ruin. Deals massive damage to an enemy.
