A série Boots, da Netflix, entrega muito mais do que uma história sobre amadurecimento e autodescoberta. Inspirada no livro The Pink Marine, de Greg Cope White, a produção usa sua trilha sonora como um verdadeiro manifesto musical em homenagem à cultura queer e ao espírito rebelde do pop, punk e rock dos anos 1980.
